Description
This is the Annual Maintenance Renewal for SolarWinds Serv-U Gateway. The Gateway is an add-on that pairs with Serv-U MFT Server to provide defense-in-depth security for your file transfers.
By placing the Gateway in your DMZ, you ensure that no data is ever stored in the DMZ itself. Renewing maintenance keeps this critical security layer updated against new vulnerabilities and compatible with the latest Serv-U MFT versions.
Security Architect Feedback
"The Serv-U Gateway allows us to meet strict compliance requirements by terminating external connections in the DMZ without exposing our internal storage. It's a simple, secure reverse proxy."
— InfoSec Lead (G2 Review)

FAQs: Serv-U Gateway Renewal
Q: Can this work standalone?
A: No. SolarWinds Serv-U Gateway requires a licensed Serv-U Managed File Transfer (MFT) Server to function.
Q: Does this license include the MFT Server?
A: No, this SKU is strictly for the Gateway add-on. You must renew the MFT Server maintenance separately.
Q: Why is renewal critical for a Gateway?
A: As an edge device facing the public internet, the Gateway must be patched immediately against new SSL/TLS vulnerabilities. Expired maintenance leaves you exposed.
